Dragon*Con! See you there! Pink rathian/tourmaline and Beat are both kinda incomplete but whatever! I did what I could, I’m not gonna stress on it anymore, and I’m gonna have fun! :p Beat is planning to be back with the JSR crew for MagFest anyway and I’m sure bethiichancosplay will rewear her Sakizou again someday […]
Finished the base of my first corset! LOTS of thanks to bethiichancosplay for lending me her corset pattern and busk! Still need to tack on applique maybe and embellish. Quickly pinned a ruffle for getting a general idea.
Corset pieces all cut out. I also cut out the pieces in a nice pink twill. Ready to sew first thing tomorrow. Pink Rathian supervising.

Creating Cartridge Pleats via thecuttingclass Elizabethan Ruffs via The Renaissance Tailor Easy Elizabethan Ruffle The ruffle shawl will be a bit… interesting to work on because the length of the ruffle gradually changes. Haha, I really didn’t leave myself enough time for this.
Working on the skirt. Just pinned for now. Since I’m using chiffon, you can sort of see the dots through the pink. :3
Using a gosurori pattern as base for bib. Yay for serge ruffles! Easiest ruffles ever. My ruffler foot broke but you can get light ruffles sometimes (depending on fabric) by setting to the widest stitch and holding the back. So bib is ok. Just need to handsew pearls around the neck seams and make the […]
Switching gears to Sakizou-based costume. First time making channels for shirring. Not too bad looking except I didn’t make the back panel big enough so it’s still a pain to get on/off. Oops. Next up: the bib! Also interested in that cartridge pleated shawl so much. HOW DOES IT WORK?? HMMMM…
